AGE LIMIT

  • Minimum Age :- 20 Years
  • Maximum Age :- 30 Years

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Academic Qualification:-

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination before the age limit as on date by IBPS.

  • GEN/OBC/EWS :- 850/-
  • SC/ST/PH :- 175/-

PAY SCALE AND PERKS

IBPS PO Salary in India- Basic Pay
  1. Rs 23700/- ( Increment in 4 stages-
  2. Salary after 1st Increment- Rs. 30560/-
  3. Salary after 2nd Increment-Rs. 32850/-
  4. Salary after 3rd Increment- Rs. 42020/-
Dearness Allowance
  • 40% of the basic pay(Varies based on inflation rates)
City Compensatory Allowance(CCA)
  • 3% or 4%(depending on the place of posting)
House Rent Allowances
  • 7%-9% of the basic pay
Special Allowance
  • 7.75% of the basic pay.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :- The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process.

  • Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
  • Phase-II: Main Examination
  • Phase-III: Interview & Document Verification

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination Details

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted
online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

  • Descriptive Test :- The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 25 marks.

Selection criteria for Phase-III :- Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Phase-II (Main Exam).

Phase-III :- INTERVIEW

  1. Interview (100 marks)
  2. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered
    for final selection.
