SSC CHSL Exam Pattern | Syllabus | Selection Procedure-SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) Board conduct every year CHSL Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam For 10+2 level and graduate level students , The Staff Selection Commission hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.

The SSC exam Syllabus and paper pattern for the Combined Higher Secondary level (CHSL) is
mentioned in this section.
The SSC CHSL Exam will consist of the following Pattern

  1. Computer Based Examination (Tier-I)
  2. Descriptive Paper (Tier-II)
  3. Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III)

Tier-1

Paper-1 conducted to shortlisted students for second paper, in which 200 questions are asked and time period is 1Hr ( 100 Minutes ).

Tier-2

Students who passed in 1 tier are invited for the 2nd tier, this tier is conduct in descriptive(pen and paper mode).

Tier-3

Skill Test/ Typing Test for the qualified candidates will be conducted on computers provided by the Commission or its authorized agency, Skill Test/ Typing Test will be of qualifying nature, Errors in the Skill Test will be calculated up to 2 decimal places,

The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-II, III & IV.

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
