Indus River Valley Civilization And It’s Facts
- The Indus Valley Civilization today (Pre Harappan Period (3300-2500 BC), Mature Period : 2600-1900 BC, Late Harappan Period 1900-1300 BC) is one of the major civilizations of the ancient river civilizations of the world. Which is mainly in the north western regions of South Asia, which till date extends into northeast Afghanistan, north-west of Pakistan and north India.
- Along with the Ancient Civilizations of Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, it was one of the three earliest chronicles of the civilizations of the ancient world, and of these three, the most widespread and best known. According to research published in the respected journal Nature, this sandalwood civilization is at least 8,000 years old. It is also known as Harappan Civilization.
- Before the information about the IVC , geologists and scholars believed that human civilizations originated from the Aryans .But after the evidence of the Indus Valley, his confusion was dispelled and he had to accept that the civilizations of ancient India had flourished years before the arrival of the Aryans This civilizations was named Indus Valley Civilization(IVC) or Sendhava Civilizations.
