SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern For Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Exam-SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) Board conduct every year SSC MTS exam, SSC hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade „C‟ (Group „B‟,Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group „C‟) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern
The SSC MTS exam consists of 1 Paper for 200 marks (time period 120 minutes )
- Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
Exam Scheme For SSC Stenographer
The SSC Stenographer Exam consists of Computer-based mode which consists of one objective type paper containing 200 questions carrying 200 marks, time period (120 Minutes)

Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
